Listening to Spirit, how do you know what you are supposed to be “doing?” Messages from Spirit can sometimes be unclear, ambiguous, or even contradictory. When you quiet your mind and begin to listen to the spirit, you start to understand more of what your purpose in this life is. (Hint: it’s probably not world domination. Probably not billionaire-level wealth and riches. But it might be! Listen to Spirit!)
One of the best words on this comes from Deepak Chopra in his book The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire. He says in one passage that the more you listen, the more you are able to manifest your desires into reality. (It sounds too good to be true, and has often been criticized by skeptics.) But he goes on to say that it’s not really that our will is manifesting everyone on of our hearts desires; rather it is that our heart’s desires come closer and closer to what Spirit wants us to do and be.
It’s the greatest reversal ever—we go in thinking, “Wow! I can manifest anything I want!” And the deeper you go, and the closer you become to Spirit, the more your desires are what the Spirit wants for you. I love this!
I have experienced this myself. I have a Vision Board from five years ago with a nice car on it, a large house, and a number of vacation spots pictured. The “wealth” items on the board have not materialized, but now I look at that board and realize I have no desire for those things at all. My heart’s desire is to bring wisdom to other healers and to continue on my path of being a healer myself.
Did I give up on wealth because I couldn’t attain it? I don’t think so. I that believe what happened is that I was shown a better way, and wanted to put my time and energy into that instead.
It’s time to redo the Vision Board, isn’t it? More wisdom, and less stuff. More help and healing, and less baggage!
